Following a resounding 6-2 victory, several players were up for the Man of the Match award. Despite scoring 2 goals and an all round impressive performance, Harry picked up just one vote to take 3rd place. Tied in second were Duncan with a typically marauding performance at right back which produced 2 goals and Josh playing excellently in centre midfield, both picking up 3 votes a piece.

However the winner was Marcus with 4 votes, who produced an impressive display going forward and a similarly impressive defensive performance which also saw him get on the score sheet with a fine finish.
This week’s Henri Leconte saw votes for several goings on during Saturday’s inaugural “FootGolf” tournament. “Sondico Si” picked up 2 votes for turning up in skinny jeans and Converse and using a balloon “Sondico” ball. And duly came last.
Nick Evans picked up 3 votes for a goal which has been described as “wonder goal”, “the longest goal in history” and “beautifully slow, almost ballet”. After turning the same guy inside out three times, Nick sent the goalie the wrong way and nonchalantly passed into the bottom corner.
The winner was Will Carlile with an incredible 8 votes for “pulling his arse muscle during FootGolf”. Teeing off on the second hole, the elder Carlile brother pulled his glute and spent the rest of the afternoon toe poking the ball around the course. Though still managing to beat Sondico Si by 10 clear shots.
