The Albion continued their impressive cup form, progressing into the third round of the Surrey FA Junior Cup.
Coming up against a very able AFC Bookham side, Albion dominated from the beginning with 11 impressive performances, some fantastic forward play and solid defending. Despite creating numerous chances and hitting the woodwork once, it wasn’t until the 35th minute until the Albion broke the deadlock.
Following one of many pinpoint set pieces, Jindy found Harry in the 6 yard box who headed over the oncoming keeper. Minutes later another Jindy set piece, this time a corner, created mayhem in the box until Josh dispatched into the corner from the edge of the box.
The Albion went into half time, 2 goals up and with their tails up. Early in the second half, Duncan scrambled a corner in making it 2 goals in as many games for the Albion skipper. AFC Bookham then replied with a goal against the run of play, however the Albion again reopened a 3 goal lead with a second goal from Harry after Nick Milne applied the afterburners and roasted the Bookham right back.
