This week four people were nominated for MOTM. In fourth, was Nick Evans with a solitary vote (you can thank Myles for that, although if his judgement on facial hair is anything to go by I’d take it with a pinch of salt). In third, place for his midfield display and possibly his Tom Daley antics (we’ll come onto that) was Simon.

Garwood – pleased as punch with a hat trick and this weeks MOM.

Second, was Nick Milne with 3 votes. But way out in front and now on for his hat trick of MOM’s, after this week scoring a hat trick, was Matt Garwood with 8 votes.

The biggest controversy in this week’s Henri Leconte, was that Jade was not voted for at all! It is possible the gaffer was tired and not his usual self after a midweek orgasm of “Sally” proportions at the George Michael concert (see last week’s Henri Leconte).

Anyone seeing Jade’s Facebook stream would have been treated to gems such as, “I’m Your Man. Nuff said…..oh he’s gone and done Freedom. 15 thousand white people 1 crazy black dude going nuts. Fastlove then I’m done.”

Reports of Jade spending some time backstage with the man himself are unconfirmed, however there were reports of a whistling sound coming from the back of Jade’s joggers whenever he was stood in the wind on the weekend.

There were a wide range of people picking up one vote, including Will for being left with XL shorts and having neither the posterior nor anterior to fill them out, Bill got a vote for a fantastic second half near post save, their player got a vote for his unnecessary sending off and Myles picked up a vote for breakdancing around the ball on the goal line instead of kicking the thing in. Neither made the top three though.

In third was Johnny “be good”, in this case Johnny “be bad” for spending most of his short time on the pitch being scolded by the ref. In second was Stewart, for searching for his shinpad high and low – eventually finding the shinpad, on his shin.

But this week’s winner was Albion’s own Tom Daley – Simon Abbott, who got booked for a second half act of simulation. Even though he rode the three previous tackles, went around three people and was in on goal with a chance to shoot. Take a bow son or a dive whatever you fancy.
