LATE SMASH AND GRAB SEES SOUTHBANK STEAL THE POINTS

Albion were fell 1-0 to a late goal in a tough encounter against Southbank at Clapham Common. It was a cruel way to lose the game after a commited 90 minute performance.

Albion shaded the first half by creating the better chances. Southbank’s keeper was especially lucky to go unpunished for a series of unforced errors. However, the second half belonged to Southbank who increasingly dominated the midfield.

With both teams seemingly unable to break the deadlock, the game looked like it was heading for a draw. However, a quick break by Southbank found Albion’s defence man to man at the back enabling them to score the decisive goal.
