Thomas: Man of the match
Singling out a man of the match proved a stern test for Albion players this week. Perhaps not surprising given the dismal performance. Nick, Dunc and Vilem picked up support. However, man of the match by a single vote was goalscorer Don Thomas.
The Henri Leconte took on a homoerotic theme this week. Barny was nominated for being told to carry on his lovers tiff with an opposition player in the showers after the game. Barny and Vilem were nominated for their touching recreation of Brokeback Mountain in the showers after the game. However, the winner this week was Will Slater for turning up with his kit in a bag – rapidly redubbed the “kaz-bag” – that looked like it had been ordered from a S&M catalogue.
