Roberts: Inspired Oasis's greatest hit

Jindy Mann and Dan Roberts could be playing alongisde World Footballer of the Year Lionel Messi. The unexpected move will come as a complete shock to manager Jade Barker who had expected the pair to be lining up for the Albion in the coming season.

The Albion legends have revealed they are ready to play with the Barcelona and Argentinian star. The pint-sized Argie has annouced that he is forming an Oasis tribute band and is set to play dates across Europe.

Mann and Roberts have previously wowed Oasis and Albion fans when they came dressed as the Gallagher brothers to support the team in their infamous 2:1 win over Nolan’s. The duo are being lined up to as part of Messi’s tribute to the Manchester rock band.

The players are known to have close ties to the legendary Britpop band with Mann once being edited out of an Oasis greatest hits DVD. Cigarettes and Alcohol has long been thought to be a song about Dan Roberts personal diet plan, while Don’t Look Back In Anger is thought to have been inspired by the player’s penchant for spinning round 180 degrees when frustrated by referees decisions.  When asked if the pair were going to be involved in the project their spokesman said: “Definitely, maybe.”
