In time for Valentine’s Day, the Albion and Westminster renewed their seasonal flirtations for supremacy – this being the season’s fourth date, the previous three going all the way of Westminster. The conditions of the pitch coupled with the awful weather and the 3-2 win for Westminster, left this encounter being as depressing as 2 fat ugly people trying to make out.
This week’s match. Like 2 fatties in a clinch -Â ugly, sweaty and not easy on the eye.
The good news was for the first time in a while, we had a clear first, second and third in the MOM stakes. In third place was Johnny with 1 vote, Simon and Joey Clapham were second with 2 votes a piece but the winner was Nick Milne with 4 votes.
We should also take the opportunity to note that Matty Garwood is currently league joint top scorer with 9 goals this season.
Henri Leconte was a complete whitewash, with all the votes was J……….Johnny! Sticking with the Valentines theme, there was a vote for Johnny’s “Sex Panther†rub. Which pre-game, was passed around the changing rooms and such was the potency of the aroma it left Albion centre back Alek’s with a pitched tent.
The winning votes however, were for Johnny’s late arrival (which under some circumstances would be excused –late night stop out, visit to Inferno’s, etc.). However, when being on kit duty is simply unforgivable. Although, it must be noted the kit was very well washed – Don, we expect your “A†game this weekend.
