This week’s MOM and Henri Leconte awards are exactly the same as last week’s, except that third, second and first place in MOM are completely different and winner of Henri Leconte is completely different (although no surprises on the eventual winner).
Bearing the above in mind, we’ll come on Henri Leconte shortly.

In this week’s MOM there was no third place or if you look at it in a “glass half full†kind of way, everyone else not mentioned in second and first were third. I’m trying to find some positives here. In second, all with 2 votes were Barny, Will C, Stewart and Nick Milne. However, piping them all with 4 votes and this week’s MOM was Alek’s.
If he is still receiving news as regularly as earlier on in the season, he’ll find out about this in August 2014 – shortly after he hears that Ricky Martin has been a shirt lifter all along.
This week’s Henri Leconte was nailed on early in the day and was so far the season’s most overwhelming vote. To the extent that Jade’s own reply was, “Will my own vote really make a difference this week?â€
Well the answer was no.
A total of 9 people voted for Jade’s pre-match statement of, “The team is exactly the same as last weekâ€â€¦..â€except Joe isn’t hereâ€â€¦..â€And Bill is in goalâ€. Will, “And what about Don?†Jade, “Oh yeah, and Alek’s is playing right back in place of Donâ€.
I don’t want to start with the “I told you soâ€, but I can’t help but think this would never have happened without the “My Little Princess†tactics and formation diary.
Also, there should be an honourable mention to Nick Evans for the following equally bizarre pre-match exchange. Bill, “so we have a newbie?†Nick – “who’s Anube?†Bill and James explain the concept and slang for newcomer, with Nick replying “oh, I thought Anube was some Asian bloke who was joiningâ€.
