This week’s MOTM had Nick Milne and Don tied for second on 3 votes. But repeating Aleks’ previous weeks effort of MOTM on his competitive debut and way out in front, was the clear winner -Matt with 8 votes.
Henri Leconte was similarly split 3 ways. The post game FIFA tournament was heavily discussed and gave us Will C in third position, for failing to grasp that FIFA 12 was named so because of the year it was released and not that there are only 12 FIFA’s released.
In second place were Matt and his Nokia 3210 antique, proving that although you might have the skill to win MOTM and “Snake” on your phone – we’ll still take the piss if you’ve got a shite phone.
However, the stand out or fall-down winner, was Albion’s own Rain Man – Nick Milne. Who whilst was clearly tripped by the onrushing goalkeeper, flew through the air like a migrating salmon (see also Don at the back post). So convincing was the fall, local plane spotters were convinced Dustin Hoffman himself had fallen from the first class carriage of an inbound overhead flight and crash landed upon Raynes Park.
