Despite a two goal brace, James O’Brien could only tie second place with last week’s winner Matt. Following on from last week’s Henri Leconte win, Nick M took this week’s “Man of the Match” with 5 votes.

Henri Leconte was spread wider than Ralph’s legs in a scissor tackle. Notable votes, included weather based nominations such as Matt complaining of wet socks and also the weather in general for “pissing on our parade”. We also had Duncan for confessing he’s had the same shin pads since he was 11 years old, because his friend gave them him for his birthday – aaah. However, although the winner was still Duncan the reasoning was altogether different.
Definitely not an early contender for “Kit Wash of the Year”, the winner of this weeks Henri Leconte was Duncan’s kit wash. This was described as “Grandmother like”; “Smelling of Potpourri” and lastly smelling “like an old person’s home”.
