Nick Onassis: Albion's man of the match
Whilst we await the arrival of the match report from Stew we can tide ourselves over with the results of the man of the match and Henri Leconte awards.
Dave and Stew picked up support. In second place was the spielefuhrer Jindy, but the clear winner was Nick ‘Doo Daa’ Evans.
Plenty of nominations in the Henri Leconte. Simon’s heavily plastered knees provoked many in the squad to wonder where he’d picked up those carpet burns. Nick was also nominated for choosing to mark the 50th anniversary of JFK’s presidency by turning up at the game looking like Jackie Onassis.
The requirement of match cards to include player birthdays is fast becoming an amusing new tradition for the Albion side as everyone waits for Steve to announce the year of his birth. Although no-one has sought to check whether it’s AD or BC.
However, the winner this week was the Slaternator post-match savaging of Simon for failing to change his holiday to accommodate Albion team requirements.
