ALBION STEER PAST NAVIGADOS

Evans: "notched with rasping effort

Albion steered past a Navigados with a 7-3 win at Belair Park.

The Albion had to negotiate some choppy waters after finding themselves 2-0 down, following a controversial offside call went Navigados way and a free kick was curled in. However, Albion stormed back in emphatic (copyright Dan Roberts) fashion, hitting five unanswered goals before half-time. The cream of which included a fizzing Mann free-kick and a rasping 25 yard daisy-cutter from Nick Evans.

Despite the set back Navigados continued to contest the game and looked to have given themselves a route back when they pegged the score back to 5-3. However, two further goals from substitutes Vilem Palac and Don Thomas secured comeback win for Albion.
