Albion recorded their biggest ever win in the Football Mittoo era with a 12-0 drubbing of Pelo.
The Albion quickly moved into a 3-0 lead against Pelo who started the game with just 9 men. However, the arrival of two more players after 20 minutes could not stem the tide of goals. Albion notched two more before the break and a further seven in the second half.
Albion historians have scoured the record books over the weekend and have confirmed that it’s Albion’s largest ever win in the Football Mittoo era, eclipsing the previous record of 10-1. However, noted Albion commentator Dan Roberts has contested that whilst the 12 nil score was numerically superior the 10-1 result was better as it was “more emphatic” due to the loss of a single goal.
Robert’s has long maintained that winning scores to nil are inferior to games where a single goal is conceeded. The veteran playmaker argues that if the opponent records a solitary goal it demonstrates that the game was more of a contest and thus worthy of a higher ranking.
The recent fixture though would seem to belie another of Robert’s long argued points – often whilst massively intoxicated – that the tenth goal is statistically the hardest goal to score due to the opposition’s increased motivation to prevent double figures.

Don’t try to comprehend DanLogic. It messes with your head. Prof. Brian Cox is doing an episode to try to explain it.
