Evans: Man of the match
“There can be only one!” Or two if people get the same number of votes. But anyway that’s not the case this week. While Stew and James picked up support for their performaces it was Nick Evans of the clan McEvans that was voted man of the match this week.
All sorts of nominations in this weeks Henri Leconte. Stew was nominated for failing to celebrate his goal. However, in fairness Stew doesn’t get that much practice. Nick picked up votes for a wide number of things, from turning up hungover, being called “doo-daa” as the team was read out, and for missing the chance to seal a famous hat-trick with a truly shocking miss. However, the winner this week was Jade who was spotted pumping up the match ball in a manner suggestive of a typically solitary male activity.

Statistically, Bill hasn’t updated the stats page for… exactly something between a month and three… despite having all the updated info after each game. So, little look into how some stats look like (this season only, including cup games and excluding double headers)….
