Evans: Notched brace

Albion saw off Bath Old Boys 5-1 at Clapham Common on Sunday.

A brace from Nick Evans, along with goals from Don Thomas, Vilem Palac and Stew Lauder secured the technically emphatic scoreline (copyright Dan Roberts).

Late withdrawls by Matt and Greg meant Albion were forced into fielding manager Jade Barker in goal. And in the finest traditions of old Albion, the recuperating Bill Blaney was told to collect his boots and made sub.

Albion looked in control throughout the match, creating plenty of opportunities and rarely being troubled in defence. A 4-1 lead at half-time could easily have been more. Albion could easily had the same again in the second half, however, some truly woeful finishing meant Albion had to settle for the purists scoreline 5-1.
