Lauder: Man of the match
Blimey, after five years of being told to read your emails it looks as if the message has finally sunk in. Possibly for the first time ever, everyone voted and all votes were in by a whole 16 hours before the voting deadline.
Anyway to matters of more importance – man of the match for the game against Whitehorse. While Barny and Rich picked up support for their performances. Joint second – or tied for third depending on how technical you want to get – were Vilem and Nick Evans. However, the winner by several clear votes was Stew Lauder. Take a bow son!
There was a clear winner for the Henri Leconte, but there were some bizarre votes worthy of mention. Dan picked up one for bowing to the inevitable and proposing to his WAG. Despite being newly married Stew it seems has embaked on a new life long romance. Oddly with Albion’s new match ball. The lad couldn’t stop eulogising how sweet it was to head. The Croydon cockney Nick Evans was nominated for his sparkling volley as was Vilem for scoring his first ever Albion header and choosing to celebrate by slapping his forehead. However, the overwhelming winner was Will Slater for touching his toes in an Albion warm-up for the first time in his 10 year career at the club.
