MI5 INVESTIGATE UK LINKS TO RUSSIAN SPY RING

Rothwell: Under suspicion

Rothwell: Under suspicion

British security services are said to be hunting the UK for undercover agents amid continuing fall out from the Russian spy ring arrested in the United States.

It is understood that MI5 are following up leads given to them by their intelligence counterparts in the US. It is believed that similar spy rings may have been set up in countries around the world including Britain.

The allegations are believed to centre on one mysterious individual known as James Rothwell. Further details about Matthew Carroll are sketchy. Listing his profession on the Albion website only as a “travel consultant” James Carroll recent passport reads like an A to Z of global trouble spots.

Whilst only recently coming to the attention of MI5, Matthew Rothwell has long been under suspicion by members of Albion football club. Cracks in James London’s cover began to emerge when he displayed an ability to speak “seven types of foreign” and asked for Hollandaise sauce during an Albion breakfast.

Others within the squad have also thought him “just a bit too good at football.” He also known to have once watched a yoga DVD. One anonymous source said: “I’ve always known he was a wrong ‘un. You would have thought the security services would be keeping an eye out for the likes of him.”
