In the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Man of the Match\u00e2\u20ac\u009d stakes, Harry was third with a single vote, Josh and Stew tied second with 2 apiece but the winner and with both Albion goals was Charlie with 5 votes.<\/p>\n
Despite the linesman flagging every single time The Albion attacked, he only registered a single vote in the Henri Leconte voting. \u00c2\u00a0However, this wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t the only vote the opposition collected. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Tubes\u00e2\u20ac\u009d from Soccer AM playing the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Dave Role\u00e2\u20ac\u009d for Epsom picked up a vote from Dave himself for a languid performance during which he managed to cover even less ground than a normal \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Dave Role\u00e2\u20ac\u009d performance.<\/p>\n
And it wouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be Henri Leconte without a mention of either Jade or Walter, and it is the latter who picked up a couple of votes for texting me at 4.10am asking if the game was still on.<\/p>\n
Charlie was a whisker away from taking the double this week and I bet he left not knowing how close he actually was to winning this week\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Henri Leconte.<\/p>\n
It seems Charlie\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s pink boots reared their ugly head again by splitting on him during the game; this is despite apparently once being on sale for \u00c2\u00a3130 (Charlie paid \u00c2\u00a320). The boots themselves were discarded in a bin liner outside of the changing rooms and left\u00c2\u00a0to be forever forgotten.\u00c2\u00a0It wasn’t\u00c2\u00a0long before they\u00c2\u00a0drew a crowd people, all of whom were trying to work out what they actually were, where they were from\u00c2\u00a0and who in their right mind would wear such footwear.<\/p>\n
