There were votes for Walter for pulling off a series of &#8216;Hollywood&#8217; saves (of which more later) and for Rich who spent most of the second half in an extended duel with a pacey winger. However, the clear winner this week was Dave &#8216;Xavi-esta&#8217; McPhee. The Harrogate Makele picked up the votes for being Albion&#8217;s &#8220;main flick on man&#8221; and mopping up in front of the back four. He also earned praised for his calm distribution throughout which was apparently like an &#8220;Amish Pirlo&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>There was an interesting selection of Henri Leconte votes. Entertainment was gleaned from Putney&#8217;s player stropping off during the first half like a poor man&#8217;s Balotelli. Jim was also nominated for unveiling the smallest pair of shinnies anyone at Albion has ever. Little more than the size of a custard cream, Jim is continuing to deny that he stole them from Warwick Davis. In second place was Putney&#8217;s goalkeeper, who despite being lobbed twice and conceding four goals, decided to take Walter to task after the game for his &#8216;Hollywood&#8217;, &#8216;one for the cameras&#8217; goalkeeping. Well, at least he keeps them out.
