This week saw an entertaining and high scoring\u00c2\u00a0game,\u00c2\u00a0however despite leading 4-2 at the break Albion let their lead slip and ended up eventual 5-4 losers to Battersea Park Rangers.<\/p>\n

Such was the size of Walter’s towel, Albion winger and “MOM” Nick Milne needed his best spec’s to see the “salmon hand towel”.<\/p><\/div>\n

This week\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Man of the Match\u00e2\u20ac\u009d was part-time Dustin Hoffman impersonator and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153reigning player of the year\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, Nick Milne with 10 votes. Displaying the kind of jinking runs and wing play not seen on a football field, since the glory\u00c2\u00a0days of John Salako. There was a solitary vote for Harry, voted for by Nick.<\/p>\n

Henri Leconte was similarly one-sided, with 8 votes going Walter\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s way for his \u00e2\u20ac\u0153postage stamp sized salmon towel\u00e2\u20ac\u009d which was unveiled and wrapped around a quarter of his waistline prior to his post-game shower. Admirably, Walter also voted for himself.<\/p>\n

In other voting, Jade was happy to vote for Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s navigational skills – possibly in an attempt to distract everybody from his own navigational shortcomings (see any number of previous Henri Leconte awards).<\/p>\n

There was also a vote for the referee, bizarrely not for his inconsistent performance rather for him bringing his girlfriend for some support and swapping seats with her at half time.<\/p>\n

The poor second half performance could possibly be accounted to a bizarre period when the Albion seemed to lose interest in the football and began following a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Carry on…\u00e2\u20ac\u009d script.<\/p>\n

With Albion left back, Duncan shouting, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Don, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m coming\u00e2\u20ac\u009d as he ran down the line. With Jade following with \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Will, fill the hole\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. Whilst in the background, Walter could be seen giggling and swinging his salmon hand towel around his head.
