This week\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Man of the Match\u00e2\u20ac\u009d was exactly the opposite, with a landslide win. Joint third were Ralph and Stew with a vote a piece (they didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t vote for each other!) and following his \u00e2\u20ac\u0153wonder strike\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Carlile was second with 2 votes.<\/p>\n

Walking it with 9 votes was goalkeeping man mountain, Walter. Picking up where he left off last season with countless saves, including 2 \u00e2\u20ac\u0153one-on-one\u00e2\u20ac\u009d duels and impeccable handling throughout (we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll forgot about the first half kicking!).<\/p>\n

In the Henri Leconte stakes, it was a disappointing first week for Jade. He managed a couple of votes for differing events, there was the running across the pitch after the game had kicked off, bollocking the team for researching the opposition \u00e2\u20ac\u201c then asking us how they got on the week previous and a bizarre telephone exchange with \u00e2\u20ac\u0153man of the match\u00e2\u20ac\u009d winner Walter.<\/p>\n

Duncan also picked up a couple of votes, for his bog roll request and also 2 votes (which technically makes him this week\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s runner-up) for his \u00e2\u20ac\u0153expertly timed\u00e2\u20ac\u009d tackle in the box.<\/p>\n

However, unfortunately I have to concede that I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m this week\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s winner with more than a couple of votes for my post game faux pas<\/em>.<\/p>\n
