Albion got their pre-season preparations off to a flying start with a resounding 5-2 victory over FC Morden Reserves.
The team welcomed back Nick Milne from his “gap yaaaar†and there was a debut for Mick Knight in central midfield.
Playing an attacking 4-2-4 formation, the Albion laid early siege on the Morden defence and we’re swiftly ahead following goals from Charlie, Marcus and Harry.
Taking a 3 nil lead into the second half the Albion dropped off the pace slightly and conceded a goal on the counter attack, however responded straight away with another finish from Harry.
FC Morden reserves pulled another back to make it 4-2 before Harry completely his hat trick with a left foot finish to go with his headed goal and right foot slot.
Some might say the perfect hat trick, but it could have been the perfect quadruple had he not smashed his penalty against the inside of the post.
Next pre-season fixture is Soho Warriors away, full match details to follow.
