Lauder: Commanding

Lauder: Commanding

Whilst there was support for goal scorers Karl and Vilem, oddly, considering Albion won 7-1 this weeks man of the match was a defender. Take a bow Stew Lauder who was the clear winner for his dominant defensive display.

Henri Leconte was also a one horse race. Despite Jindy’s squirrel bazooka picking up votes for STILL be in the tree behind pitch 2, the winner was gaffer Jade Barker.

Barker: Bemoans poor service from throw-ins

Despite it being easy to control the ball with his feet, Barker attempted to execute a diving heading after receiving the ball from throw in, succeeding only in blasting the ball straight back out of play and away across the Common.

Special mention should also be made for the solitary vote for Duncan Twigg, who was nominated for his “appalling throw-in”. Whose voting slip was that?
